Abside est une lampe à poser en marbre.
Elle existe en marbre Statuaire, marbre de Carrare, marbre de Covelano. La méridionalité, se retrouve ici avec ce dessin classique, roman,  archaique et donc moderne. Le choix de la matière de marbre blanc, viendrait il également de la méridionalité des rochers, cubiques, géometriques, blancs eux aussi ? La référence à une chapelle construite sur ces rochers donne des airs de religieuse à cet objet.
La lumière vient depuis la niche à l’intérieur de l’Abside et traverse le marbre, elle devient diffuse. Comme si une pensée de pureté s’en emmanait.
Ses volumes sont organisés dans et pour la lumière.
Elle est inspirée par les églises romanes, l’Abside.

Abside can be made with Statuary marble, Carrare marble, Covelano one.
Southernity is present here with this classic, roman, archaic, modern design. The choice of the white marbles could have come  from the southernity of the cubics, geometrics, white rocks too.
The roman chapel’s reference built on some white rocks gives a kind of religiosity to the piece. The light comes from the inside of the niche and through the marble. As if a pure though could have come out from it. Its volumes are organised in and for the light. Inspired from meditatives churches, Abside is.
